FAQ/Conditions

What are your business hours?
We are open Monday – Friday: 7.30am – 6pm, for your convenience.
We are closed Weekends (unless we are running specific training classes or have scheduled day events. Should you have a special request, please ask as we may be able to accommodate your request. We do offer Weekend Daycare with reduced hours, by appointment from 9am to 5pm.
We are open every weekday,  (except December and Easter Public Holidays) please inquire about our rates for Public holidays.

What happens if I am late to collect my pet?
We understand that occasionally, for a number of reasons, you may be running late. The best way to avoid extra costs is to have a nominated person already organised to collect your pet in case these circumstances arise.
Unfortunately, this also holds up our staff so late pick ups incur extra fees as follows:
Up to 15 mins late – fee $30
15 mins to 30 mins late – fee $60
30 mins to 60 mins late – fee $150
NOTE (after the first hour a fee of $100 per hour onwards will be charged)

Do you accept un-desexed pets?
All well behaved dogs are welcome at our centre.
My dog has not been socialised and I am not sure how friendly he is? Can I still bring him/her?

We Conduct a mandatory “Meet & Greet” with all new dogs and ask you to leave your dog with us for the day. We can get to know  your dog and introduce them to our own dogs before they are introduced to other dogs at the centre. If we feel that they are suitable for daycare we can let you know during the day. We ask that you notify us at the time of the meet and greet about any behavioural issues you feel may be a concern during their stay with us.

Please note that it is the responsibility of the owner in the unlikely event that your dog attacks another and you will be responsible for any veterinary fees or associated costs involved.

Can I book a tour of your facility?
For safety reasons, and due to the majority of days we have dogs on the premises we ask that you book a time between 11am – 2pm on a Monday to make your visit. We can offer you a time to meet us and view all the areas on CCTV. Please call to book an appointment.

Do you accept my pet if they require medication?
We are happy to administer medications to your pet.  All medication must be in original packaging with instructions on how much and how often to administer and you must inform staff of any precautions we may need to take when administering.
Note – a fee starting from $5 per administration will apply.

Can you provide training for my dog?
We offer some great training opportunities with our Day Trains. These range from beginner puppy to more advanced training providing enhanced skills and enrichment training for your dog.
Training has many benefits. It improves their general fitness, improves their concentration, builds bonds between dogs and humans, socialises them, reduces stress levels in active environments, reduces risk at social events and gives them focus.

What happens if my pet gets sick while at Day Care?
We would like to think that this would be a very unlikely event, but if your pup is not well, we will endeavour to contact you from the contact number you supplied on your registration sheet or use the email you supplied.
If we are unable to reach you, we will of course make an informed decision based solely on the welfare of your pet, which may result in veterinary care. In this instance, all medical expenses will be the responsibility of the owner.

What do we bring to Day Care?

Our Staff use leads to move your dog from area to area within our facility, so a collar is essential. Harnesses are great for car travel, but not easy for a dog to play in, particularly with other dogs,

Any food that the dog needs during the day is to be left with staff at reception. Place in an airtight container, clearly marked with your dog/s name and instructions.

For us to provide your dog with their meal, we must place them in a safe place by themselves. It is not unusual for your dog to not be interested in a meal at Daycare as they just don't want to miss out on any fun.

Payment?

We offer two different options.

Bookings made once a week and paid a month in advance offer you a discount of $10 per day or our causal rates.
